Steeped in history and culture, Morocco is a tantalizing fusion of Arabia and Africa. Although just a stone’s throw from European shores (9 miles from the Strait of Gibraltar), it is a truly exotic destination with its deep, Islamic culture. Think Sahara Desert and nomadic tribes, of snake charmers and spice markets, and you’ll quickly pick up the intoxicating vibe that’s distinctly Morocco.

The team’s agenda is to fully immerse themselves into the culture of Morocco and experience its famous hospitality, from the cosmopolitan city of Tangier, to the magic city of Marrakech.

For many visitors, the real Morocco is exemplified by the medina in the ancient walled capital city of Marrakech with its 16 kilometers of sunset pink walls revealing an intricate labyrinth of winding passageways, bazaars and souks (covered markets).

We will spend few days in Marrakech and then continue by camel ride to the base of the Atlas Mountains. We will polish skis and boots and climb several fourteeners in that region, including Jebel Toubkal – the highest mountain in North Africa.

Other highlights of the trip will include the world famous cuisine of Morocco and experiencing and filming the nomadic way of life and customs. It will be a fantastic experience, and we are thrilled that our efforts will benefit such a worthy cause.
